Weddings, birthdays, and intimate private dinners, Bush Icecreamery offers what we call ‘tailored events’. We find out what food our clients really love and work backwards from there.
Picture fire cooked feasts finished with freshly churned ice cream of your favourite Bush Icecreamery flavour.
The event could be a long table set with linen, or snack stations where smaller plates are made to order with the help of qualified chef mates.

Our offering to the community. We run a small pop-up shop in Brunswick Heads at the Daily Counter. Our Pop-ups are a showcase of what we do - here you can hit wild ice cream flavours, churned to order in our Frxsh Ice cream machines, topped with various seasonal fruits or cultured cream.
It is space for community and connection with occassional chef collabs and markets.
Frxsh is a Swiss-based company that allows us to create small batch ice cream with focus on the flavour of the ingredient.
What makes Tailored Events different?
Bush Icecreamery is a collaboration of the entire Northern Rivers on a plate - we are surrounded by talented producers, farming the rich alluvial soil of Bundjalung.
We are proud to work with the best local foragers, spray-free farmers, fishmongers, butchers, chefs, bar staff, coffee roasters, dj’s, artists and creatives.
Each Tailored Event menu begins with the guest - everyone has their own nostalgic food memories, it might be white anchovies served on chips in Spain, maybe its Smørrebrød in Copenhagen, or maybe it’s their Nan’s perfect bread & butter pudd. Making a menu based around what guests LOVE makes Tailored Events different.
Our ingredients are also unique to Bush Icecreamery - we really LOVE flavours from the bush. Your menu could find anything from our 3 year old, certified organic OORAY PLUM VINEGAR (from the YUM PLUM in Nashua) brightening some freshly shucked oysters, or our MISO made on BUNYA BUNYA foraged from the Northern Rivers hinterland aged specifically for your event.
Each event is ended with one, or more, of our signature desserts. We like to break things up after the mains with a cleanser before hitting the final dish. Guests have been know to sample different ice creams (at our pop up at the Daily Counter in Bruns) or we can tailor an ice cream, or ice cream cake specifically to the clients palate - based around the season and event location.
